Slushies

Slushies or slush drinks more specifically are a blend of water, ice and flavoured syrup. One of the most popular brands in the UK which sell the drinks is known as slush puppies. The drinks are oh so yummy and usually at extremely reasonable prices considering the work that goes into making them although now days they're almost all made instantly by expensive modern machinery.

Some people opt to make the drinks at home but the standard household equipment will take anywhere upto 12 hours to produce the same drink, quite time consuming! The taste can vary so much that you may never reproduce your favourite branded slush since it will depend so heavily on the ice, water and syrups used and the quantities of each.
